The Missouri Soybean Merchandising Council (MSMC) is supporting a flood tolerance breeding to Shannon and Nguyen ($80k/year). The Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board (ASPB) is providing a partial support ($25k/year) for a graduate student to work on the field screening for flood tolerance. The North Carolina Soybean Producers Association (NCSPA) is funding a graduate student to conduct research on: “Flood Tolerant Soybean Varieties for North Carolina” ($75k total for 3 years, 2016-2018).
